History

Andalasian International Journal of Social and Entrepreneurial Development (AIJSED) was first published in 2021 by the Institute for Research and Community Service, Andalas University, Indonesia. This journal was born from the need for an academic forum that can accommodate and disseminate research results and conceptual thoughts in the fields of community service, social, and entrepreneurial development. With the aim of supporting community-based development, AIJSED is committed to becoming a scientific reference source for academics, practitioners, and stakeholders in the field.

Since its first edition, the journal has implemented a peer-review system to ensure the high quality of its publications. AIJSED publishes articles covering various aspects of community service, ranging from social innovation, economic empowerment, to sustainable entrepreneurship strategies. The journal attracts contributions from various national and international researchers who have a concern for social development and entrepreneurship.

As a growing journal, AIJSED publishes regular issues twice a year, in April and October. By providing publications in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, the journal seeks to reach a wider audience, both domestically and internationally. Going forward, AIJSED will continue to strive to improve its academic standards by expanding indexation, increasing research collaboration, and strengthening its position as a key reference in the field of community service and entrepreneurship development.
